After a huge weekend of activity at Pepsi Baskerville Raceway, the club rounded out the Khanacross Summer Series with a great field of competitors and officials. It was a great finale, with some big efforts from old players, up comers, juniors and newbys.
Unfortunately the long and extraordinarily hot summer had punished the grass, and dust inevitably got the better of us in the afternoon, leading to abandonment just as some people were hitting their stride.
After some investigation of the best way to handle the results, given the nature of our two track running, organisers have decided to score as if two individual events, giving a realistic outcome to each group.
The overall results of the Summer Series will be announced at the 500CC presentation night, Saturday March 16th at the Salty Dog Hotel in Kingston Beach, along with the club's regular perpetual trophies. Looking forward to you all coming to enjoy the night.
